Zorlu PSM’s “Digital Stage” is now bringing William Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece Romeo & Juliet to the digital world, thanks to collaboration with Based Istanbul and the contributions of Türk Tuborg A.Ş. Under the adaptation and direction of İbrahim Çiçek, one of the most daring and original voices in the Turkish theater scene, this innovative project combines iconic scenes from classic plays with visual storytelling, offering audiences a fresh perspective on the world’s most beloved works.

In Romeo & Juliet, Shakespeare’s most famous romantic tragedy, we witness the eternal love between two young people played by the captivating Miray Daner and Kerem Arslanoğlu. The play reminds us of the power of passion in a world where obstacles are constantly present. Whether in a grand palace or a humble apartment, love takes center stage, challenging the audience’s perception of romance. With Juliet as the driving force, the play subverts traditional gender roles and explores unconventional forms of love.
